Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the cleaning services provided by Wright in the United Kingdom. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions

“Customer” means the individual or business who books or purchases services from us.

“Services” means the cleaning services, including any additional work, provided by us as described in your booking confirmation.

“Booking” means your request for Services, whether made online, by phone, in person, or by any other means.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By making a Booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not make a Booking.
3. Booking and Confirmation

How to Book: Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or e-mail.

Confirmation: We will send you a booking confirmation detailing the Date, Time, Services, Price, and any special requirements. These Terms apply once we send you the confirmation.
4. Prices and Payment

Prices: All prices are as quoted at the time of Booking and include VAT at the current rate.

Payment Terms: Payment is due in full on completion of Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card (processed securely), or any payment method clearly stated in your confirmation.

Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily from the due date until payment in full.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

By You: You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled Service time without charge. Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 48 hours before will incur a fee equal to 50% of the Service charge. No-shows will incur 100% of the Service charge.

By Us: We may need to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. staff illness, adverse weather). We will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment or full refund.
6. Your Obligations
You agree to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the premises and any utilities required (e.g. water, electricity).

Secure pets and valuables out of our way.

Inform us of any hazards or special requirements (e.g. fragile items, health & safety risks).

Ensure any required permissions (e.g. landlord’s consent) are in place.
7. Our Obligations
We will:

Perform the Services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.

Comply with all applicable health & safety laws and regulations.

Treat your premises, belongings, and information with respect and confidentiality.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the Services, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will, at our discretion, re-perform the affected part of the Service free of charge or offer a proportionate refund.
9. Liability and Indemnity

Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services in question.

Exclusions: We are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of business, loss of profit).

Damage to items not properly secured or stored out of our workspace.

Wear and tear or pre-existing damage.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your failure to meet your obligations.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, marketing materials, and any reports or documents we provide remain our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use them without our express written permission.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your future Bookings if you:

Fail to pay any amount when due.

Breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 7 days of our notice.

Otherwise act in a way that jeopardises the health, safety, or welfare of our staff.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law or our services. We will post the updated Terms on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in your local county court.
